“We focus on the needs of the individual, not their diagnosis.”

Our Philosophy

Stepping Stones believes in the potential for everyone to overcome the things that hold them back, and to live the lives they choose. We know that there are times when strong feelings and distressing experiences overwhelm us. At these times we all need people who will listen to us, respect us and who have the compassion and skill to help us.

Support

We offer a range of support packages which are based on individual need.  Fully trained experienced Staff 24 hours a day with a member of staff sleeping in at night. Senior member of staff on-call out of hours. 12 week assessment package available to assess and identify specific needs.

Service user profile

We support people who have complex needs and may present with higher risk behaviors.  People who have been in hospital or other institutional care and have lost their confidence or ability to cope with everyday living skills.  People who have become socially isolated and would benefit from peer support as well as the professional staff.  Young people living on their own for the first time after leaving care and people who have had a cycle of homelessness as a result of a chaotic lifestyle.

Feedback

We always ask for feedback from people who use our services.
