Property 3 - Gippeswyk Road is a shared house that also includes a 1-bed self-contained basement flat. There are 4 good sized bedrooms, one shared bathroom plus staff office/sleep-in facilities.
There is a very spacious communal kitchen/dining/lounge area on the second floor, along with a second kitchen on the ground floor.
This spacious Victorian property is situated close to Ipswich railway station and town centre facilities as well as our two other staffed housing projects
Social groups and activities are regularly provided along with making full use of the local community.
Basic furniture is provided.
This project offers core support of 10, 18 or 28 hours per person per week as a basic minimum, plus any additional hours that may be required according to assessed need.<?span>
The project is staffed 24/7 with facilities for staff to sleep on site. Waking nights can be provided if necessary.
This project caters to the needs of people who have not been used to, or have had difficulty in living independently, for example:
People who have been in hospital or other institutional care and have lost their confidence and/or ability to cope with everyday living skills.
People who have become socially isolated and would benefit from peer support as well as the professional staff.
Young people living on their own for the first time after leaving care.
